The MF 5710 Dyna 4 tractors are powered by fuel-efficient AGCO Power 4.4L, four-cylinder diesel engines that meet Tier 4 final emissions compliance without a costly and time-consuming diesel particulate filter (DPF). They offer many standard features which optimize the work they can handle and set them apart from the competition including an easy-to-read digital system information screen, advanced cab suspension for a smooth ride, three hydraulic remotes and a 540E/540 PTO, plus radial tyres for better traction and ride.
Dyna-4 is a highly efficient transmission that provides class-leading, simple and convenient control of 16 forward and 16 reverse completely clutchless speeds, and there are two very simple and seamless ways to shift up or down through the four Dynashift (powershift) speeds. This allows the operator to shift through all gears and ranges on the roll, speeding up time-consuming tasks like loading and stacking hay.
The Power Control lever provides convenient three-in-one, straightforward operation. Operators can shuttle between forward/reverse, shift Dynashift speeds and ranges and select neutral, leaving the right hand free. Smooth or quick shuttling – you choose by simply adjusting the Comfort Control to suit the job – slow and smooth or fast and efficient.
Cab
The 5710 Dyna 4 features a comfort cab that is fully sealed with air-conditioning/heating and comes with carbon filters that Southern Forest Machinery can recharge as required. Within the cab, the right speed for each job is easily selected using gear levers that are within easy reach, yet positioned neatly to hand of the driver, ensuring an unimpeded passage when mounting/dismounting. Hydraulics, hitch and linkage
Specified with a limited slip differential, the 4WD front axle boosts traction and stability with maximum simplicity and minimal maintenance, whilst the 2WD front axle gives excellent manoeuvrability and adjustable track width. Each model is fitted with a 35mm six-spline PTO shaft providing 540 PTO speeds. Control is via a modern independent PTO (IPTO) clutch, which is engaged electro-hydraulically and ‘eases’ the engagement, to protect the driveline by gradually taking up the drive. This well-proven control system combines upmost reliability with ease of use and is controlled simply using a three-position rocker-switch on the operator station.
The rear linkage has been optimised specifically to complement the size of tractor; 4,300kg lift capacity on the MF 5710, meaning heavy-mounted equipment can be lifted with ease. It comes with the industry leading Electronic Linkage Control (ELC) as standard. The system provides precise and responsive control of linkage functions ensuring accurate management of working depth for soil engaging implements plus working height for other implements. It brings more responsiveness and accuracy because the electrics operate immediately – this means that the draft reacts accurately to ensure maximum traction at all times to minimise wheel slip and fuel consumption.
